Hi everyone! Microsoft Word is one of the best word editors out there, however, you may have just accidentally deleted some of your Word documents, so, let’s take a look at some ways to recover a deleted Word file!

First of all, Microsoft recommends searching for these Word files, so, click on your Start menu, type in the name of your Word document file, and if the file exists, you should be able to see it within your search panel.

Another thing you can try to do is search for your Word backup files, you can do this by making your way over to your search panel within Windows, you can then type in the extension “.wbk” if a backup exists, you should be able to see it within your search panel:

On top of this, you can take a look at your Recycle bin as well, if your file was deleted, you should be able to see it within your Recycle bin as well.

Personally, one of the easiest ways I’ve been able to recover my Word files was by exiting out of Word and going back inside it. Basically, every time Word accidentally closes or your computer restarts, you can sometimes recover these files by opening the Word application up again, and on the left side of the panel, you should be able to view your auto recovered word files!

There you have it! Those are some of the easiest ways to recover deleted Word files! Do you know of any other ways to recover these files? I would love to hear your thoughts about this below!

Thanks So Much!
