Hi everyone! You might be having an issue with your Mac where the installation file keeps telling you that the copy of macOS is damaged, so, lets take a look at a few ways we can fix this issue!

First of all, this specific issue is usually due to a certificate issue, meaning, you probably went to install this update, but then waited too long to actually install the version of software, thus, the update couldn't install. So, the easiest way to fix this issue is by trying to re-open the installer and trying to redownload the macOS update:

If that doesn’t fix the issue, I would recommend deleting that specific installer and re-download it from there. So, make your way over to the installer page, re-download the installer, and try reinstalling this version of macOS.

If this doesn't work, I would recommend restarting your Mac, alot of the issues you may have can be resolved by restarting your Mac.

There you have it! Do you know of any other ways to fix this issue? I would love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks So Much!
