How To Fix OBS Not Recording/Working
Hi everyone! OBS is an awesome piece of software that allows us to record our device screens! However, you might be seeing that OBS isn’t working or recording for you, so, let’s take a look at a few ways we can fix this issue.
First of all, I would recommend closing out of OBS and opening it back up, personally, whenever I have any issues within any piece of software, I will close out of it, go into task manager, and close out of the software within it as well, so, be sure to give that a try.
Another thing you can try is updating your OBS software, as I’ve mentioned before, if you’re having issues with OBS not working, this is something that you might have to try, so, check to see if there are updates within OBS.
Next up, you want to make sure your OBS inputs/outputs are correct, sometimes, the device that your trying to record may not be set up properly, so, be sure that your device is properly set up within OBS.
You may also want to make sure that there is enough storage within your PC as well, even if it looks like you have enough storage, you may also want to make sure you’re not exceeding the PC’s storage during recording, if you’re recording very high-resolution videos for a long period of time, this can automatically stop the recordings/cause issues.
