How To Fix Not Enough Free Space For macOS Update
Hi everyone! Let’s take a look at how to fix the “not enough free space” error when trying to install a macOS update. First of all, this error message is due to storage on your machine, so, you want to make sure you have enough storage on your machine in order to install this update, how do you do this? Easy, you want to clear out/delete any unused data or applications you’re not using on your machine anymore.
Personally, whenever I run into storage troubles on my Mac, I will make my way over to the Apple Logo in the top right corner of the screen, then click on About This Mac, at this point, you want to click on storage, and you should be able to see the storage option come up on your Mac:
You can then click on the Manage button, and you should be able to see a panel that allows you to see many different files on your computer, sizes, and options to delete them as well, feel free to delete any big files you don’t use anymore!
If that doesn’t end up working, I would recommend going through and restarting your Mac, this can probably fix a bunch of issues on your device as well.
There you have it! Did this end up fixing your issue? I would love to hear your thoughts about this!
Thanks So Much!
