How To Fix MacOS Can’t Be Installed On Drive!
Hi everyone! You might be having an issue with your Mac where you can’t install your macOS version on a specific drive, personally, I’ve had this issue a few times, so, let’s take a look at a few different ways to fix this issue!
First of all, you might want to make sure your Mac is compatible with that version of macOS, at times, you might be able to download a specific update installer, but you won’t be able to install the actual software on a drive, so make sure that your Mac is compatible on that version of macOS.
Another thing you might want to do is check the date and time settings of your device, personally, you can have tons of issues with updating your Mac if your date and time settings are off, so, be sure you have the correct time and date settings on your Mac to your area.
Another thing you can try doing is restarting your Mac, in my opinion, a ton of issues can be resolved by simply rebooting your machine. So, go ahead and turn your Mac off, try turning it back on, and try running the installer one more time.
You might also be having an issue with storage on your Mac, so, if you’re almost out of storage on your device, you might want to go ahead and clear up some storage, like I’ve stated before, this was one of the reasons why my Mac couldn’t be updated, so, make sure your specific Mac has enough storage built inside to install an update!
Finally, you can try redownloading your version of the macOS installer and try to download the update once more.
There you have it! Did any of these tricks fix your Mac? I would love to hear your thoughts about this!
Thanks So Much!
