How To Factory Reset Windows 11 PC
Hi everyone! Windows 11 is an awesome update, however, if you’re wanting to reset your PC, here are the instructions to factory reset your Windows 11 PC!
First of all, you want to make sure you have all of your data backed up, so, I would recommend backing up everything from your PC and storing it on a separate hard drive or SSD. Once you have a backup, you are ready to go!
First of all, you want to make your way over to your settings panel within your PC, in your settings panel, you want to click on updates and security panel within your settings menu:
In this panel, you want to click on the Recovery tab that’s on the left side of the panel, you can also search for it on the top of the panel if needed. At this point, you will see a Get Started button under Reset This PC, all you want to do is click on that little button, you should then be presented in the next panel which will allow you to configure your reset.
You will also be asked if you want to keep all of the files or remove them, you probably want to remove them if you’ve already done a backup. You will be asked a few more questions about the data of your machine, but you probably want to select the options that allow you to remove everything from your machine.
After the reset process, you will be able to set up your PC normally again! You will then be able to set up your PC as you normally would!
There you have it! You have just reset your Windows 11 PC!
